The Govind Wildlife Sanctuary established in 1955, covering an area of 953 sq km includes mountains like Swarg Rohini, Black Peak and Bandarpunch. Apart from the sanctuary, the place is a popular tourist destination, mainly because of the beauty of its snow-clad peaks and glaciers. Attracting many trekkers and famous for its lush green beauty is Hari-ki-Dun.
